The service is scheduled to make one round trip each day, departing from Los Angeles in the morning and returning from Las Vegas in the late afternoon. The journey is expected to take about 5 hours 45 minutes. Although the station is yet to be completed, it is expected to be on or very close to the Strip and will consist of a platform with a covered canopy. Tickets are likely to be available through local hotels and from Amtrak.
